Manisha Shrestha

Hello, I am a Lecturer at Monash University. My research focuses on understanding the progenitors of different types of transients, such as gamma-ray bursts, kilonovae, and supernovae. I mostly work with multi-wavelength observational data, and I also dabble a bit in radiative transfer simulations.

I am originally from Nepal. In my free time, I enjoy playing table tennis, cooking, and watching tennis, football and tv shows.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

  • Supernovae

  • Gamma-ray bursts

  • Kilonovae

  • r-process elements
